Racing Stables In Newmarket

Graham Lodge Stables is located on Birdcage Walk minutes from the entrance to the famous Rowley Mile Racecourse in Newmarket, Suffolk giving excellent access to the best racehorse turf gallops in the World.

The horses go out from the back of the yard onto a horsewalk when they can then turn left along Rowley Drive towards the gallops at the Rowley Mile Racecourse, or turn right towards town and and on to Warren Hill gallops.

Newmarket is the home of numerous racing stables, all equipped with the excellent facilities required to train racehorses.

This picture is taken at the entrance to the stables yard. Like most medium-sized stables, the atmosphere is friendly and informal with professional and dedicated staff combined with the trainer's hands-on approach. George Margarson believes that giving the horses their morning feed gives him a good feel for how the horses are in themselves and their wellbeing before going out on exercise. The yard has 52 boxes which are modern, clean and well maintained.

The team at are dedicated to continue building up the yard with quality horses and attracting owners who appreciate the extra special enjoyment that owning a horse and seeing it trained in a quality yard by a first class trainer can bring.
